How do Members get involved? IFRA UK has a Technical Advisory Group (TAG) which meets four/five times a year and which consists of experts in topic areas affecting fragrances. The group is designed to be able to act proactively on issues which may affect the industry. Twice a year, information days are held which are open to all members and provide updates on key legislative changes and technical issues identified through the TAG. An Executive Committee of twelve is elected at the Annual General Meeting to deal with policy matters, finance and steer the work of the TAG and ad hoc working groups. IFRA UK also holds ad hoc seminars when appropriate. Subjects in recent years have included “REACH” and health & safety labelling.
IFRA UK also hosts an annual Fragrance Forum at which members receive complementary places. Held on the same day as the AGM, it enables attendees to hear from a wide range of speakers on diverse topics ranging from raw materials to finished products. As other stakeholders are also able to purchase tickets for the event, it is also a wonderful networking event.
Should you be interested in applying for membership of the association, please complete the application form and your application will be presented for endorsement by the IFRA UK Executive Committee at their next meeting. Your membership will become active upon payment of the appropriate subscription.

• Full Membership is open to those companies engaged in the production or marketing of fragrance compounds, fragrance ingredients or aroma chemicals.
• Associate Membership is open to companies providing supporting services to those fulfilling the criteria of Full Membership or businesses approved by the Executive.
• Consultant Membership is open to individuals acting as consultants to companies fulfilling the criteria of Full or Associate Membership.
