How do Members get involved? IFRA UK has a Technical Committee which meets four/five times a year, and all Members are eligible to send a representative to this Committee. The meetings give an opportunity to debate current issues, ask questions and form a general consensus upon which an “industry voice” can be agreed. These meetings also give an opportunity to promote best practice. An Executive Committee of twelve is elected at the Annual General Meeting to deal with policy matters, finance and steer the work of the Technical Committee and ad hoc working groups. IFRA UK also holds ad hoc seminars when appropriate. Subjects in recent years have included “REACH” and health & safety labelling. Should you be interested in applying for membership of the association, please complete the application form and your application will be presented for endorsement by the IFRA UK Executive Committee at their next meeting. Your membership will become active upon payment of the appropriate subscription. Full Membership is open to those companies engaged in the production or marketing of fragrance compounds, fragrance ingredients or aroma chemicals. Associate Membership is open to companies providing supporting services to those fulfilling the criteria of Full Membership or businesses approved by the Executive. Consultant Membership is open to individuals acting as consultants to companies fulfilling the criteria of Full or Associate Membership.
